Stealth Healthcare Startup Roles

</aside>

šŸ„Ā Overview

We’re a series A startup, currently in stealth, building a product that transforms the public healthcare experience for people across the US. Our team is over a 150 people strong!

****We are funded by world-class investors like Sequoia and Khosla Ventures. Led by a founder who grew up on Medicaid,Ā many of us have personally lived through the experience of not being able to afford medically-necessary care. Every decision we make is geared towards our goal of delivering an exceptional experience to vulnerable families.

We are a team that believes that the largest problems in society can be solved through will, determination, and grit. If you’re a builder who’s excited by that, we’d love to chat.

ā¤ļøĀ Our Vision

Our vision is to redefine healthcare for the most vulnerable.

Over 60% of all Americans rely on public insurance to get care — yet the Medicaid and Medicare systems are in many ways broken. Millions of families don’t know of the full array of healthcare resources that are available to them, or are unequipped to navigate the maze. Even when families are able to participate in the system, the process of finding, affording, and receiving quality care is a challenge for many low-income families.

We want to change this narrative. Technology has the power to positively impact lives, and we believe in building for the people who need it most.

šŸš€Ā Our Progress

Many low-income families need help on multiple fronts, and many healthcare solutions have failed to provide a more holistic solution. In contrast, our company has seen huge demand, with an accelerating 8 figures of annual revenue ($XXM) in less than a year of launching.

We’re a Series A startup backed by Khosla Ventures (*Vinod Khosla, early investor in OpenAI*) and Sequoia Capital (Alfred Lin, who led Doordash and Airbnb).

On the ground, we’re already working with many families, while still barely scratching the surface (<1%) of what’s possible. We’re excited to continue the momentum and serve many more people.

šŸ—ļøĀ The Opportunity

There has always been a need for our company to exist, but there has also never been a better time than now.

COVID revealed massive gaps in the health system when people needed robust care the most. Since then, states have been passing regulations to improve access to public healthcare. Recent regulations have made it possible to rebuild what the perfect patient experience looks like, which we have capitalized on over the past year.

The explosive rise of LLMs and generative AI has also unlocked a wide array of opportunities to streamline preventative care. In a world where models make advances on the order of months, startups with teams that think like outsiders, while having a deep, personal empathy toward the problems, will build the best products. Our team has honed in on that dichotomy since the very beginning.

šŸ›£ļø The Exciting Challenges

With our rapid growth comes exciting, yet unsolved, challenges.

  1. We have grown exceptionally fast and expect that growth to accelerate. With that growth comes more complex regulations and requirements that can differ across each US state. We need systems that are built to accommodate those varying regulatory requirements and that will support hyper-growth. We are always looking for more folks who are excited to do the difficult but rewarding job of thinking about problems from multiple angles, and working with different teams to build.

  2. AI is another massive lever for us, and playbooks haven’t been built out across any industry, much less healthcare. We’ll continue working closely with clinical teams to build holistic experiences that are 10x better for our families.

  3. We’re serving the most underserved families who have had limited exposure to technology and/or aren’t tech-enabled. Therefore, we focus a lot on design-thinking and accessibility to create products that families can easily use. Our goal is to continue getting better at providing holistic, patient-centered experiences.

šŸ˜ŽĀ Our Team

Here, we set ambitious goals, and we move with empathy and urgency to achieve them.

We work with vulnerable families who trust us deeply - that is something we don’t want to break. Therefore, user empathy is constantly needed to make sure we’re making the best decisions for our families.

Every delay is a hurdle preventing families from getting to their goal of accessing care. Therefore, we feel the urgency and iterate with speed everyday. Our team works hard and long-days to make this happen.

The balance between these two principles is based on the conviction that what we do is deeply fulfilling for both us and our families. The day to day atmosphere is electric with many initiatives driving forward. At the same time, we have fun working together and constantly celebrate our wins with each other.
